It has a fairly sweet flavour with a refreshing aftertaste. Mint is a good source of potassium, iron, phosphorus, Vitamins A & C, along with calcium and magnesium.
Baby Spinach (Superfood): An extremely nutrient-rich leafy vegetable. It can be enjoyed raw or cooked and is commonly used in salads, green juices, and smoothies. Raw Baby Spinach has a mild sweet taste, while cooking gives it a slightly bitter flavour. It is an excellent source of Vitamins A, C & K, folic acid, iron, and calcium.
Red Amaranth (Superfood): Humble superfood packed with nutrients and antioxidants. It is commonly prepared in saag, curries, lentils, soups, and stir-fries, or eaten raw in salads and juices. It has a mild nutty flavour similar to raw spinach. Lollo Rosso
Uses: Best had raw with other leafy greens in salads, used in sandwiches and as wraps.
Taste: Lollo Rosso lettuce is strong, nutty with a slightly bitter taste.
