Taste: Mildly sweet with a cabbage-like flavour and crisp texture.

Mint (Herb): One of the oldest culinary herbs known. Mint is widely used in Indian cuisine in tea, chutneys, raita, garnishes, cooling drinks, green juices, and smoothies. It has a fairly sweet flavour with a refreshing aftertaste. Mint is a good source of potassium, iron, phosphorus, Vitamins A & C, along with calcium and magnesium.
Baby Spinach (Superfood): An extremely nutrient-rich leafy vegetable. It can be enjoyed raw or cooked and is commonly used in salads, green juices, and smoothies. Raw Baby Spinach has a mild sweet taste, while cooking gives it a slightly bitter flavour. It is an excellent source of Vitamins A, C & K, folic acid, iron, and calcium.
Red Amaranth (Superfood): Humble superfood packed with nutrients and antioxidants. It is commonly prepared in saag, curries, lentils, soups, and stir-fries, or eaten raw in salads and juices. It has a mild nutty flavour similar to raw spinach. Red Amaranth is rich in carotene, iron, calcium, protein, Vitamins A, C & K, and potassium, making it nutritionally comparable to Swiss Chard and Spinach.
Uses: Best had raw with other leafy greens in salads, used in sandwiches and as wraps.
Taste: Lollo Rosso lettuce is strong, nutty with a slightly bitter taste.
Health Benefits:
Nutrition: It is full of powerful antioxidants and is a good source of vitamins A and C, folate, and iron. In terms of nutritional value, Lollo Rosso Lettuce rates higher than Iceberg Lettuce.
Uses: Best had raw with other leafy greens in salads, used in sandwiches and as wraps.
Taste: Iceberg Lettuce is crispy, watery and has a very mild flavour.
Health Benefits:
Nutrition: Iceberg lettuce has only one calorie per leaf and is a source of calcium, potassium, vitamin C and folate. While not the most nutrient-dense lettuce, it still provides important vitamins and minerals.
